This fitting is equipped with standard iron pipe threads, and a grooved end that allows the pipe to enter the fitting with ease. When installing the BLKBR3212 3″x2-1/2″ Black Iron Bell Reducer, be sure to apply teflon tape and pipe dope (liquid sealant) to seal threaded joints, for a seal that will protect the building and jobsite from future leaks. Fitting is pressure tested before leaving the factory.
