Description
Basswood (Tilia americana) is considered a top choice for wood carvers and sculptors. Although it grows all along the eastern United States, the most highly prized Basswood grows in the upper Midwest region where it’s white and creamy texture make it a delight to work with. The Basswood carried at KWS is from this region (Upper Minnesota and Wisconsin).
