Figure 8 Desktop Fastener Clip (10pk)

Description

Stamped steel “figure 8″ desk top fastener to mount desktop topedestals. 1-5/16″ long by 3/4” wide, zinc plated. Uses one #9 screw and one#11 screw.

Screws not included.

Instructions for use:
Drill several 5/8″ holes 1/8″ deep with a forstner bit along the top of the apron allowing the bit to overhang the inside of the apron 1/8″. This allows the 3/4″ side of the clip, which is used for fastening to the top, to swivel freely, allowing for expansion & contraction of the wood.

Run a screw snug but not tight fastening the figure 8 clip to the apron. Fasten the figure 8 clip to the top from underneath using a screw slightly shorter that the thickness of the top.
